The London Drinker Beer and Cider Festival 2018, Rest In Yeast

The London Drinker Beer and Cider Festival is hosted at The Camden Centre on Bidborough Street, London WC1H 9AU. As one of the oldest beer and cider festivals in London, it saddens me to discover that the last London Drinker Beer and Cider Festival is being hosted this year on Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th March 2018.

Showcasing over 200 London cask and keg beers (58 beers suitable for vegans)as well as a number of bottled beers from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia and a few crafty American beers for good measure. Their will also be a small selection of english wine and mead too.

There will also be a short VIP session for CAMRA members which is being hosted on the Wednesday which has been sponsored by the Moncada Brewery (37 Humber Road, London, NW2 6EN). Meet The Brewer Sessions this year include the East London Brewery, Hackney Brewery, London Brewing Co, Twickenham Fine Ales and Truman’s. You can grab tickets for Meet The Brewer Sessions here.

Beers will be judged for the Champion Beers of London on Thursday morning and will be served from midday onwards. There will also be an award for the Keg of the Festival which will be announced around the same time.

In addition to this, there will be a Tombola, Shut the Box, Devil Among the Tailors and home cooked food courtesy of Phil’s Pop Up Kitchen. Nice! Phil Pop Up Kitchen has home made cooked food with a daily theme. As well as their specials, there will be wild boar or fish finger baguettes too. Not to worry if you don’t have a season ticket, you and guests will be able to pay on the door.
