Kent and Sussex Ale Festival at JD Wetherspoon

The Kent and Sussex Ale Festival at JD Wetherspoon is being hosted in 14 participating pubs in Kent and Sussex. Showcasing 12 real ales, 6 from Kent and 6 from Sussex, this regional real ale festival, though small, promises to deliver some great beers from both counties.

Tonbridge Rustic, 4.0% ABV, Tonbridge Brewery, East Peckham, Kent, Established in 2010.
This deep bronze coloured ale is lightly hopped with the scarce Kent-grown Epic hop variety, giving this beer its delicate, spicy aroma and rich balanced flavour. Allergens: Barley (Gluten).

Westerham Spirit Of Kent, 4.0 ABV, Westerham Brewery, Westerham, Kent, Established in 2004.
This golden pale ale has a hoppy lemon and citrus aroma, leading to a smooth, malty flavour, with hints of orange and almonds, culminating in a long, bitter, hoppy finish. Allergens: Barley (Gluten).

Kent Zingiber, 4.1% ABV, Kent Brewery, Birling, Kent, Established in 2010.
This golden beer is brewed using a delicious blend of American hops and ginger highlights, resulting in an inviting aroma and a distinctive, refreshing character. Allergens: Barley (Gluten).

Old Dairy Silver Top, 4.5% ABV, Old Dairy Brewery, Tenterden, Kent, Established in 2009.
This smooth cream stout is brewed with dark roasted malts and classic English hops, resulting in rich, fruity aromas and hints of spice, balanced by flavours of chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Allergens: Barley (Gluten), Wheat (Gluten).

Rockin Robin Reckless Robin, 4.5% ABV, Rockin Robin Brewery, Boughton Monchelsea, Kent, Established in 2011.

Ramsgate Gadd’s No 3, 5.0% ABV, Ramsgate Brewery, Ramsgate, Kent, Established in 2002.
This straw-coloured ale has a hoppy aroma, with hints of lemon, leading to a balanced flavour of biscuity malt and tangy, spicy hops, giving a lingering, balanced, bitter finish. Allergens: Barley (Gluten).

Long Man Long Blonde, 3.8% ABV, Long Man Brewery, Litlington, East Sussex, Est 2012.

Kissingate Black Cherry Mild, 4.2% ABV, Kissingate Brewery, Lower Beeding, West Sussex, Established in 2010.

High Weald Carcoal Burner, 4.3% ABV, High Weald Brewery, Hartfield, West Sussex, Established 2013.

Firebird Old Ale, 4.5% ABV, Firebird Brewery, Rudgwick, West Sussex, Established in 2013.

Goldmark Moshpit IPA, 5.6% ABV, Goldmark Brewery, Poling, West Sussex, Established in 2013.
