The Huntsman of Brockenhurst is a beautiful pub, restaurant and hotel in The New Forest, Brockenhurst, Hampshire.

Steeped in tradition, with a contemporary refurb, The Huntsman of Brockenhurst combines original features, with tasteful, modern upholstery throughout the pub and restaurant.

Recently refurbished, this quintessentially British country pub is delightful both inside and out.

With Victorian-style tiled flooring and deep turquoise blue seating alongside vibrant mustard trimmings and animal prints (paying homage to The Huntsman of Brockenhurst’s heritage), this pub combines new, and old, seamlessly.

A favourite with locals and tourists alike, this modern country pub provides a resting place for ramblers, explorers and guests staying over night, in a beautiful part of The New Forest, Hampshire.

The Huntsman also offers a number of three-star rooms, providing a warm welcome and great access to The New Forest and its stunning surroundings.

Whether you’re stopping off for a bite and a pint after a day exploring The New Forest, or want to stay overnight in one of their rooms, rest assured The Huntsman provides a lovely space to do both!

With a comprehensive selections of spirits, including hot gin (on my visit during the winter), to craft beers, ales and soft drinks, their is plenty of choice behind the bar.

Although I did not eat at The Huntsman (on this occasion), the restaurant area was clean, tidy and in keeping with the decor throughout the pub.

With industrial lampshades and Edision Light Bulbs dotted around the restaurant area, the lighting was ambient yet well lit.

Regarding the recent refurbishment, I found the attention to detail throughout The Huntsman great.

It certainly demonstrated how a traditional pub could develop, while retaining integrity, features and heritage. In my opinion (although I had not seen the pub before beforehand), the revamp is tastefully vibrant.
