Very Vintage, Coffee House, Herne Bay, Canterbury, Kent
Very Vintage is a lovely little coffee house in Herne Bay, Kent, serving top quality coffee, sourced and roasted locally at the Micro Roastery in Canterbury. Their roasted beans are also available to buy in 1 kilo bags.

Owned and managed by the delightful Jenny, Very Vintage boasts quality roasts in every cup!
Served in a range of gorgeous crockery, my pots of tea were both served in beautiful duck egg blue Royal Doulton fine bone china tea cups, on a Wedgwood saucer and vintage Porcelain tea pots. A lovely touch, for a lovely brew.

Although I arrived late afternoon, when the kitchen had closed, Jenny and her team welcomed me in out of the cold for a cuppa.
Very Vintage has a number of vintage items dotted around the cafe which gives this cafe a very different flavour.

With a small boutique vintage store selling vintage clothing and memorabilia to the back of the cafe, and quirky seating and decor throughout, this place was chilled, friendly… and has fantastic coffee!

Very Vintage is a cosy retreat from the hustle and bustle of the high street and seafront, providing a great space to catch up with friends in a relaxed environment.

With many coffee houses in Kent selling The Kent Coffee Co and a couple of others, it was refreshing to see a small cafe refuse to compromise on quality by sourcing some of the finest beans in Canterbury, namely; Micro Roastery!

Aside from that, with a selection of tasty sandwiches and vegan friendly options, this place is a must visit if you’re in Herne Bay and fancy a cuppa.

This coffee shop is a ‘grounded’ community hub, and is frequented by locals for breakfast, brunch and lunch throughout the week, as well as, of course, welcoming guests from far and wide.
