The Cock Inn, Pub and Restaurant, Ide Hill, Sevonoaks, Kent
The Cock Inn, Pub and Restaurant, Ide Hill, Sevonoaks, Kent is a gorgeous country pub, perched on top of Ide Hill on Camberwell Lane in Sevenoaks. Overlooking Ide Hill Green, this sleepy Kentish village is proud to have a mighty fine Greene King pub to eat and drink at… and also has it’s own The Cock Inn Cask Ale as a permanent fixture on draft too. Result!

Surrounded by the Weald of Kent, The Cock Inn pub in Ide Hill Sevonoaks is a great pub to pop in for a pint, or kick back with some food, especially during the summer months. With a green to enjoy in front of the pub, good food and drink and their own ale, brewed especially by a microbrewery in Sussex, this charming Kentish pub is definitely one to check out.

Popular with ramblers, hikers and cyclists, The Cock Inn at Ide Hill in Sevenoaks is a super stop-off serving fantastic beers and the local community. With friendly staff working behind the bar and blooming flowers across the frontage, The Cock Inn not only had good produce, but is attractive too.

On my visit I ordered a pint of The Cock Inn House Brew with a packet of Snyder’s of Hanover Jalapeño Pretzels and a Witley and Neil Rhubarb and Ginger Gin and Tonic which were both delicious! Although The Cock Inn had four guest gins and two house ones, unfortunately they only stock Schwepes tonic water. That said, the rhubarb and ginger provided a well balanced, subtly infused, refreshing G&T which was served with sliced lemon garnish.

Why not head down to The Cock Inn pub and take a look for yourself. Please note that The Cock Inn closes early on a Sunday (7pm).
